Accessible Places
Manchester Disabled People’s Access Group works with other disabled people’s organisations, with Manchester City Council and other local authorities in Greater Manchester to improve access to buildings, the environment, transport, services, the arts, housing, events and information.

What we do
Manchester Disabled People’s Access Group (MDPAG) is an organisation of disabled people and a registered charity. We work in Manchester, in Greater Manchester and nationally to promote best practice in inclusive design and access standards and make Manchester and other places more accessible. We do this through membership, project and campaign activities. We contribute to local and national consultations and offer training.
We welcome all disabled people to get involved with access audits and surveys, meetings with MCC and GMCA officers and committees and councillors and regional organisations and services, our regular members’ meeting and we also offer training for disabled people to become access auditors to NRAC standards.
